This stone cladded  B&B was built in the 1980's and its interior had undergone little change since then.  The brief was to convert it into a fully modernised second family home with a barn feel that could also be successfully let as a large occupancy holiday cottage for up to 10 guests.  Stunning countryside views dictated that the living space should be upstairs & we added character by vaulting the ceilings.

BEFORE: 3 dark bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, owner accommodation upstairs. Occupancy 18 weeks p.a 

AFTER: 4 airy bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, open plan living, dining terrace.  Occupancy: 38+ weeks p.a.
